Lane Fisher Joins the FranNet Board of Directors

Prominent franchise attorney Lane Fisher has joined the FranNet Board of Directors. His term began on January 1, 2012. This is the first term for the Pennsylvania Superlawyer.
For more than 20 years, Fisher has represented franchisors in business transactions and complex litigation including matters related to trademark and copyright infringement, franchise development, and regulatory issues. He’s also litigated the enforcement of franchise agreement obligations on behalf of franchisors, including non-competition covenants, collections, under-reporting and encroachment claims.
Fisher, a frequent speaker at national franchise conferences, has appeared on national and regional talk shows, as well as been published extensively on franchise-related issues. In addition to his new appointment to FranNet, Fisher is also a member of the International Franchise Association’s Board of Directors and its Franchise Business Network Task Force.

Fisher is a 1989 graduate of American University’s Washington College of Law. Prior, Fisher earned an M.B.A. in international business and a B.B.A in finance from George Washington University. Currently, he’s a partner in the Philadelphia-based law firm of Fisher Zucker. He’s also an eight-time recipient of the coveted “Pennsylvania Superlawyer” award given annually to the top attorneys in the state of Pennsylvania.
